Tutoring Beyond Borders provides free tutoring services to local Grades 9-12 students who are “at risk”, defined as those who are struggling with their academics and unable to afford hefty private tutoring costs. Our goal is to make education accessible to all, and to let everyone get a fair chance at getting extracurricular academic help without being bound by existing financial burdens.
Every dollar donated goes towards supporting our operating costs, primarily in tutor recruitment and matching up students with their tutors. A $50.00 donation goes towards supporting the work done by TBB in matching one student with one tutor, and additional donations go towards providing our students and tutors with additional resources to help them study.
